La Panga Antigua creates what just may be the best seafood dishes in all of Los Cabos and it also offers Prime beef and chicken dishes for the non-seafood eater in your group.
A wide variety of restaurants line the marina in Cabo San Lucas.
RESTAURANTS IN CABO SAN LUCAS, LOS CABOS Thirty years ago, most of the restaurants in Cabo San Lucas and the Los Cabos region just served local Mexican dishes. With the unparallelled growth the area saw during the nineties and into the new century, the dining options here have exploded. Now, you can find cuisine from every corner of the globe - Italian, French, Asian, Brazilian, Swiss, good old-fashioned American, and of course, some of the freshest seafood restaurants you're likely to find anyplace on Earth.
You also have a lot of options when it comes to the location and type of atmosphere you're looking for. The marina area offers up great people watching along with great views of the yachts and sport fishing boats tied up to the docks. Restaurants in the marina area range from casual, lower priced fare to high-end gourmet restaurants. Here you'll find the Baja Cantina, Tiki Bar, Solomon's Landing, Alexander's, Pochos, Ruth Chris Steakhouse, the Baja Lobster company and many, many more. For some of our favorite restaurants on the Marina, you should take a look at our TOP TABLES IN CABO listings.
Venture off the marina and into town and you in store for more treats. Along these narrow streets you'll encounter some of our favorites like Spencer Moore's Mama's and Felix, Salvatore's Italian Ristorante, the Brazil Steakhouse, Mi Casa, and the newly transplanted Gordo Lele's Tacos. Trust us when we tell you that you could spend a month wandering these streets and probably still not have enough time to check them all out.
Heading towards the Medano Beach area and the streets that surround it, we highly recommend a stop at Gardenia's which has, in our opinion, the best Shrimp Mocajete's in Baja. There's also La Golondrina that some of you may remember as the Trailer Park - a terrific place to go if you have a huge appetite for seafood. La Golondrina is an open air restaurant with delightful garden landscapes and trees strewn with lights to brighten up the atmosphere. Big portions offset the prices, they're not cheap but you get a tremendous amount of food!
Along Medano Beach you'll find more restaurants including the Baja Cantina Beach restaurant (sister to Baja Cantina in the marina), Edith's, The Office and the Tabasco Beach Club, a casual beachfront burger and fries type of place that also serves Mexican fare and seafood.
Venture up the coast and you'll find a plethora of restaurants from the home of "slow cooking" Don Emiliano to El Chilar in San Jose del Cabo. Whatever you tastebuds desire can be found in Los Cabos. For listings and information about Los Cabos restaurants, see our CABO SAN LUCAS/LOS CABOS RESTAURANT DIRECTORY.... Buen Provecho!
VIDEO REVIEW OF MI CASA RESTAURANT IN CABO SAN LUCAS
POCHOS RESTAURANT MARINA FRONT DINING AT IT'S BEST
It's pretty easy to see why Pochos has become one of the most popular restaurants in Cabo. First, you have its location right on the marina at Plaza Bonita. Second, the food is great, the portions big but prices are very reasonable. Last, is fire, as in flambé. Make it by Pochos for lunch or dinner and you'll be treated to a show along with your meal as many dishes are flambéed tableside, even dessert and after-dinner drinks!
You can find Pochos at Plaza Bonita which is located on the marina between the Puerto Paraiso Mall and Lorenzillo's just down a couple of spots from the Nowhere Bar. Pochos also runs its own Cabo charter fishing company so why not go fishing, then have them cook your catch!
LET'S TALK TACOS..... CABO SAN LUCAS STYLE There's so many choices of where and what to eat when in Cabo San Lucas that it gets tough to choose. That's why we at Cabo's Best try and visit new restaurants every time we visit. It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!!
Every where-to-eat list needs to have a down-to-earth, honest-to-goodness street taco spot on it and ours has to include the Cabo Cantina on it. For me, the fish taco’s are the best in town and the prices are cheap, the beer cold and the tequila pour generous. Located right on Marina Blvd. in the center of town next to the Wide Open Baja offroad racing office - just look for the desert racer on the sidewalk and you’ve found it - Cabo Cantina is an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner as they're so much more than just a Great taco spot!
