INTERNATIONAL GOVERNORS CUP
The newest tournament in Los Cabos! The International
Governors Cup Tournament (IGCT) is a conservation-minded modified-release
sport fishing tournament. Circle hooks are required whenever
using live or dead baits.The Black and Blue Marlin Weight Division
requires a minimum weight of 350 lbs. to qualify for weigh-in.The
tournament also includes divisions and cash awards for the top
three largest tuna, wahoo and dorado with a minimum weight of
thirty pounds required to qualify for weigh-in or prize money.
Several Los Cabos charities will benefit from the event including
Casa Hogar – homes for orphaned boys and girls in Cabo
San Lucas and La Paz – and the construction of a new Senior
Care Center.

IGFA OFFSHORE CHAMPIONSHIP
The International Game Fish Association is a not-for-profit
organization committed to the conservation of game fish and
the promotion of responsible, ethical angling practices through
science, education, rule making and record keeping.The dates
are May 10 - 16, 2008. Fishing days are May 11, 12, 13 and 14
with the awards party on Friday, May 16. To make reservations

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF ORANGE COUNTY
The 11th Annual Stars and Stripes Fishing and Golf Tournament
established in 1996 has become the largest and most important
fundraiser of the year for BBBS. In addition to serving the
youth of Orange County, Stars and Stripes also gives back to
the communities of Cabo San Lucas, recently donating modern
medical equipment and new ambulances. This year, we have pledged
our support in the construction of a new hospital in the heart
of San Ignacio.

WON/MERCURY LOS CABOS TUNA JACKPOT
As for the event itself, a few changes will be made,
but nothing that changes the tournament's basic premise of making
a jackpot tournament accessible to everyone at all levels. Two
major changes are that team can now have to eight angers on
a boat but only four team members can fish with the help of
two crewman. So, you can bring two guests with you, which was
a request from many teams with larger boats.The other change
is that a $5,000 a day optional will be added. All other optionals
will remain intact.

LOS CABOS BILLFISH TOURNAMENT
The Los Cabos Billfish Tournament is a three-day big-fish
team event with Top Team honors going to the team that tallies
the most points per pound during the tournament and pays down
to third place (first, second and third.). The tournament will
also award cash and prizes to the team(s) that catch the largest
fish (by weight) in each of the three eligible billfish species.
A release trophy and cash prize will also be awarded to the
boat releasing the most eligible billfish. Optional Marlin,
Tuna, Wahoo and Dorado Jackpots will also award cash and prizes.
